Hi,
I have a nandroid backup taken of my s5830 before upgrading to custom firmware 2.3.7. Im trying to go back to my original rom due to some bugs annoying me but when I restore the nandroid backup the phone restarts but doesn't get past the main samsung loading screen. I cant remember exactly what version of android it was, maby 2.2 or 2.1. I think its something to do with the kernel being incorrect although I thought this got flashed as part of the backup/restore.
I was going to try downloading a stock 2.2 for UK unbranded which is what the phone was originally but I cant find a rom anywhere. Can anyone help please?
