Native Email App Crashing When Deleting Emails

The native email application 'crashes' when attempting to delete multiple emails. If you select more than about 20 emails it crashes the application and will also not delete the emails you selected. I'm currently on 4.4.2. Is there something in the settings that can be altered?

Try k-9 mail

Its much better than email.apk
It dose everything the same basicly except the addition of push notifications.

K-9 has the addition not email
