Hi all,
I have a very curious occurrence in the native email app on my international GS3. Since this morning, the "Enter/Return" key does not seem to be adding any new lines to the body of my messages. It plainly does nothing, no spaces, no new lines, nothing.
I should mention that I use the JB keyboard that I installed from the Nexus 4 keyboard apk released a few months ago (the Samsung keyboard really sucks!) and have been using it successfully since. I am able to include the intended returns/enters using that key in other apps like messaging/gmail/any other text entering fields. Conversely, I am able to switch back to the default Samsung keyboard and CAN include the returns/enters with the appropriate key in the email app there.
So basically, the combination of the Android JB keyboard in the native email app does not seem to read in the "Enter" key, and I have no clue why. I've also tried other keybaords like SwiftKey and Go but I really like the Android one best, so I'd like to figure out if there is a fix/cause for this.
Alternatively, I have been using AquaMail without this issue for now which is a better app, but I guess out of plain curiosity I still want to figure out what the crap is going on with the native email app.
Thanks for reading, and btw this is my first post here so I should thank the forum members for help that I've received by just lurking during previous months.
