Native video call on Note 8 shows half screen when other party is an OTT client

I have been trying to get video calling working between my OTT app (H264 codec) and the Samsung note 8 native Video call. I am able to set up the call and the calls work fine but on the note 8 device I see only half screen. The whole video sent by my OTT app just shows up in side the half screen of the note 8.

I am using 42800C as the profile_level_id , 352*288@15 FPS.

Anything specific needs to be sent in the SDP to make this work full screen (or atleast a bigger screen) on the note 8?

PS: the issue is not seen when both the phones are using native video calling. Issue occurs only when one side is an OTT client.

The note 8 has a unique screen size (“infinity display”) so not all 3rd party apps will scale properly on the note 8 screen.

Don't know what 'OTT' is. But it could be that the app needs updating so it can deal with the Note8's unique aspect ratio screen correctly. Maybe worth you emailing the developer and enquiring about it. Possibly the could issue an update that fixes full screen video on this phone.
