Nautical Navigation Question

Hello everyone! I am new to the android world (just got my droid incredible), and had a quick question......

I have a friend that has an iphone, and they have a nautical app that allows you to view the depths of bodies of water. This would be beneficial to me becuase my boat needs about 5 feet of clearance to travel where I go. Is there an app that can do this???? Please let me know if anyone has any ideas of a current or future planned app for this, thank you.

I regret to say that, no, it does not seem there is a single nautical chart available. If you spot one, please do report back here!

There is an app called Navigator, but it's only good for plotting courses, and it works on the normal Google (street) maps.

I'm quietly wondering if Google will not eventually venture into that territory (as it were) ... and how they'll do the street view!
