Okay, so FINALLY my Moto G5 Plus got the upgrade from Android 7 to 8.1 which I took overnight while at work. Learning that I don't know where thing are anymore as many things got moved around and others look so different!
However I'm having a problem with the navbar. The navbar while using Android 7 was transparent and moved in and out as necessary. However since upgrading it's turned grey and stays put which causes apps that have their own bottom toolbar to be a little further up then they otherwise normally would.
I'd like get the navbar to be transparent again and to move in and out again but I've looked and found nothing. A quick search on the web says that the color grey has to do with OLED screens and working to prevent burnout but the Moto G5 doesn't have an OLED screen and I don't know why the navbar isn't moving. I'm not opposed to downloading a navbar app that'll give me some functions (it much must be no ads) but I'd like to avoid yet another app on my phone as I have plenty. I'm also not opposed using the touchpad that Moto equipped to respond to gestures in the Moto G5 series... But any help or advice would still be appreciated.
