Help Navigation during a phone call

folks - when on a phone call, can google maps offer beeps on an upcoming turn vs staying completely silent or talking over the phone call?

I know my watch does this, but I swear this was an option on my Pixel 3. When you toggle the voice options in Nav, is there an alert option?
 
The only option I see is to "Play voice during phone calls", which I don't think is what you're looking for. Some sort of shorter and less-intrusive audio cue while on a phone call would be great. Please be sure to use the Send feedback option in the Google Maps app to request it!
