Which device do you have and which carrier, some of the carriers have their GPS app on the Play Store. Knowing which carrier and the name of the GPS app will help us guide and help you better.
The new Google Maps app combines the Older Maps and Navigation apps into one app. You no longer will have 2 separate icons in your app drawer, just the one for maps. Hope this helps.
