Navigator on Samsung III used to talk giving directions. Now no sound. Just a map. How do I get the talking directions back?

Welcome to AF, are you on Google navigation and not maps? If so then a simple raise in volume should allow the sound to come back on.
Hi, hopefully nfs13epic has solved it for you.
If not, you could try the mute/unmute toggle (in maps version 7), accessed by tapping the 3 dot menu soft button at the bottom right of the navigation screen.
