Navigon 3.6.0 Force Close

Ive got navigon on my desire hd and it works fine with an internet connection, either 3g or wifi. But as soon as i turn them off navigon force closes, i dont mind having 3g on when im using it as it uses minimal battery. But i dont want to have it on when im abroad and get raped for data charges and if im walking with it i dont really want it on either just draining my battery even more.

Ive unticked the use internet connection when avilable in the settings but it still force closes. Anybody else got this problem? or know what im doing wrong here?

I use Navigon 3.6.0 on my Desire HD, but I haven't a problem to navigate without a data connection (this was my main reason to buy an onboard navigation).

Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling the app?

Today I have seen in a German Android forum some people posting about this Navigon problem.
No solution yet

Hi Yeah_Mick,

I hope you found a solution at the time of writing this but for those with the same issue:

For me the force closes when not using a data connection where solved by disabling the "Use Internet" option from the settings menu.
