Need a good reminder application for my Android

I need a good Application which will be used for reminders. I have tried the following
1. Astrid
2. Jorte
3. Default calendar from google

Earlier I had Samsung, Nokia models in which I would have the reminder flash on my home screen and keep on buzzing till I dismiss it. But none of the applications I have used have this feature. I think Astrid is better atleast it has an option of keep on ringing till it's dismissed. however the alert is only on the top of the screen very tiny.

I've been using Onepunch notes as I can stick reminders on shopping lists etc.
