Need a really basic speaker queue app

Really short notice. I have no idea how big a project I'm requesting but you can let me know. In 2 weeks, I am helping with the audio at a church conference. There will roughly be about 10,000 people there. There will be times that the attendees will be given a chance to speak or ask questions. The plan is, instead of them making there way to the front of building, we would have 20 stations they would go to ask to speak. Each station would have a mic. The moderator would have to give the signal for each one to speak to keep things in order. The original plan was each station would have a number sign they would hold up for the moderator to see. The downside is, in a crowd and 200' away, he may not see them. Also, it would be hard form him to keep it in order if there is more then 1 sign up at a time. My idea is an app that when an attendee steps up to a mic to request to speak, the mic handler would send a request. This would put him in queue in the order the request is made. The moderator would have a interface (tablet, etc) that he would simply pick the next number in queue and give them the go ahead to speak.

Requirements
Would have to be able to be narrowed down to a specific event
I'm thinking there will be an app moderator that would check off the request as they are fulfilled.
Could be a simple number 1-25 or each each mic holder could type in the name of the attendee
I'm sure that (gasp!) some of the mic holders will be using something other then android. Would need to be made available to apple for sure.

This idea of mine is only about 30 minutes old. Maybe you know of an app already available. I haven't been able to find one. I also know it will be a challenge to develop and get all the bugs out in a matter of 2 weeks.

I don't know of any apps available like that that meet your requirements, but I don't think you will find someone to develop that in less than 2 weeks lol
Hopefully someone will be able to help you find something close to what you need.

Why couldn't you use a simple instant messaging service to do this?
You could use WhatsApp or something similar.
They just send a message "station 5, Bob Smith" then you can have someone monitor the messages as they come in.

You have some time to experiment and find the best way to work it out.
A couple get togethers and one or 2 dry runs should allow you to work out the ins and outs.
