Need a recommendation for a simple alarm

I'm looking for a simple alarm. Say I want the alarm to sound of next Thursday at 8:00 (with a text note re what the alarm is for would be really nice) ....or every June 7th, and a regular 24 hour alarm. On my PC I use Chameleon Clock which I rely on for scheduling. I'd love to find something like that if it's out there.

You could set up entries with the Gmail calendar and use SMS alerts.

Thanks. I'll check that out. I was hoping to find something simple at the market but no luck. They all seem to be 24 hour alarms.

Problem solved. AK Notepad just came out with an update today. It's a basic text pad but they've added a reminder so the note you type will pop up on the set date/time. Excellent.
