Okay this happens on both my Google Music (streaming) and on my Rocket Player (non streaming) media players. In fact I can't seem to find a single application that excels at this function. I keep thousands of songs. The problem is I have it on shuffle and when I reset the device or restart the application the shuffled setting restarts or does not remember what it has played and I hear songs I heard just the day before. With thousands of songs and how little I listen (maybe 30 minutes a day) I shouldn't rehear the song for days. Is there ANY way to make the shuffle feature shuffle in such a way it is not repeating things until it gets to the very end and starts over? What I would like is something that sees 1,000 songs then it plays song 1 then 12 then 333 then 569 then 999. Then when I restart the application it knows NOT to play 1,12,333,569,and 999 until ALL the other ones are played. Does anyone know of any application that does this?
