Root Need advice for a stable HTC Magic Rom

Hello everyone,

Been a Symbian user for a long time and due to the recent hype of android, i decided to switch onto android based phones, so just bought a HTC Magic recently. I was wondering what ROM would be the most suitable w.r.t. stability, performance and with a cool attractive GUI , ( Dunno if all these three can be found in a single Rom).
After some google research, I found SuperFly TCBY 2.2 android rom to be the most suitable. Anyone here who actually tried this? ( sorry if I am being too much of a noob, cant help it ) Is 2.3 gingerbread available for the HTC MAgic phones? I hope you can guide me to the right path, before i try flashing a lame rom ad brick my phone.

Im currently running SuperFly TCBY 2.2 on my rooted Magic(MyTouch3g). Plan and simple it is amazing. Super fast and stable. I would definatly reccommend. I had SparksMod for a while and it was laggy and glitchy. I just switched to TCBY about 2 weeks ago and Im hooked. Well worth the flash.
