I have a paid consulting gig that should be pretty straightforward for the right candidate.
If you have experience developing apps/drivers for android that interface with hardware, particularly sensors, you're probably the right guy or gal.
Specifically, we need
1. General guidance/background on interfacing with hardware.
2. A couple of bare-bones example application(s) that access sensors
3. Some hand-holding through getting a dev environment set up to compile and test the applications.
You'll be working with a dev who does _not_ have Android experience but has 10+ years of building products and is very capable.
There are a number of other tasks that could follow if all goes well.
This is a paid gig starting in January and we'll pay reasonable rates for the work. The ideal candidate would be based in North Carolina (doesn't matter where), but being elsewhere isn't a deal-breaker.
I can provide more specific details by email. If you're interested, send me an email/pm and fill me in on your background/experience.
Thanks.
