Need and app that sets my phone to no roaming.

This may not be to spot for this but I am looking for an app that I can download that sets my phone to pull from only a Verizon tower (cutting off roaming completely). I live at the outer edge of the Verizon network. So, the roaming tower pulls my phone over to a Sprint tower. That would be okay if I am just talking but I use my phone for internet a lot. I have looked in the phone settings and set it on "Home Only" but it does not help. There are several roam control apps out there but I have not seen one that was like what I am needing.

Any help would be appreciated..

You don't mention what firmware you are running but on 2.3 you can go to Settings > Wireless and network > Mobile networks > Data roaming and just untick the box.

Firmware is 2.2.1

I am close enough to a Verizon Tower but the raoming (Sprint) tower is so strong it pulls my phone over to it. When this happens I have no internet. So, like I was saying if I could just find a switch to turn off roaming I would be good. Thanks Ironass...
