I'm hoping someone can suggest a good Android Phone with HDMI or MHL support. I just spend a bunch of money installing a Kenwood DDX 9703S in my SUV only to find out my Moto Z Droid doesn't support those formats. The Kenwood has a USB connector which gives me basic Android Auto support, but no screen sharing ability. It also has a female HDMI connector, so with a USB-C to male HDMI I can do sharing for certain apps like Waze if I have a compatible phone. I'm going to have to change phones or return the Kenwood and have my old unit reinstalled. It's not easy to find if a phone supports these formats.
