Root Need .apk & .odex files to install OTA for Droid RAZR HD XT926

Hi,

My 4.1.2 OTA update keeps failing because I am missing the following files from the /system/app/ folder:

MagicSmokeWallpapers.apk
MagicSmokeWallpapers.odex

VisualizationWallpapers.apk
VisualizationWallpapers.odex

VideoEditorGoogle.apk
VideoEditorGoogle.odex

Can someone please send me these fiiles from your Droid RAZR HD XT926 (US-Verizon) running 4.1.1, rooted, running stock ROM ???

I believe, those files are pretty generic, so any copy should work. The odex files should automatically be created when the apk's are installed.

Also, how are you going to write to the system/app/ folder? You need root, yeah?
You're not trying to install an OTA on a rooted device are you? Because that won't work.

The files listed are not generic because they are patched by version in the update.
I am rooted and using Root Explorer to write and change permissions of the files.
You can unroot with Voodoo and load the update zip through recovery. That is how I know what files I need.

If you are rooted you can copy those files out and attach them.

Those 3 files you posted are all stock android apps. They're not exclusive to the Razer. That's why I said they're "generic." So you can use an apk from any phone.

You removed them from the phone in the first place right? Why not remove them from the update zip? Or extract them from a copy of the stock ROM or back-up? Or just flash a rooted stock ROM of 4.1.2?

I cant find a stock rom that is not deoxed to unzip it and get the files. I also do not have safestrap installed. The update zip only includes the patch for the files which includes the apk and odex.
