Ok I have read quite a few threads and cant find out if there is a way to correctly do what I am looking for. I have a droid X and when I first got I attached gmail to my phone and facebook as well. All of my gmail contacts were on my phone and all of my facebook contacts were on my phone and for any duplicates my Droid attempted and mostly succeeded in linking them into one.
What I noticed was that some people who were added via facebook to my contact list had their phone numbers listed already and others did not. So I added to my contact list those who did not have phone numbers. (Keep in mind these were contacts added via facebook).
My problem happened when I rooted my phone, formatted and installed a new ROM. All of my Gmail contacts were backed up from within my contacts in gmail and my facebook contacts synced back up from Facebook. What happened was all of the phone numbers I added to those who were added from facebook did not save. So I had to go and contact them to get their phone numbers and re enter them into my contact list.
Is there a way to actively sync all contacts coming in via facebook to my contact list in gmail so I don't have to worry about this in the future?
Thanks
