Need Basic Info to Buy IPTV Android Box

Hi All,

I am very new to the IPTV and need to explore it. I want to buy an IPTV Box that offers free TV channels (mainly international). I am reading here about the Android Boxes but I am not sure how it works. Will it work like a cable box or it is mainly to get android apps to work on a TV?

Moreover, I need to know what features I should look at when selecting the Box and what box you recommend.

These TV boxes are basically a simple computer with limited capabilities. They run a modified Linux OS called Android. The TV viewing is accomplished thru applications you can install into the system as you would on a PC. The program access sites which stream various TV shows and videos as well as music. The process of doing things are quite different than you are accustomed to on PC.
They are great for watching any existing videos, music, pictures, etc, from your own personal collection and transferring these to your TV via HDMI which connects to the Box. Some have wireless access to work thru you own wireless network to retrieve data from a NAS or attached USB storage and even SD card.
There is really quite a bit you can do with these little TV Boxes.
Look around and read up on them.
I like the TVTB0032 available at Alibaba. Just do a search from their main page.
Mind the fact that there are a few companies that make this exact Box under various names but the boards are generally the same and thus features as well.
Explore the forums here and you can learn alot.
