I am trying to add a host so I can access an add-on (not sure if I can say the name here). Instructions seem simple and worked well with an older OTT TV Box, but I can not get it to work with the 2 newer boxes I have recently purchased. All boxes are rooted, but I have tried adding host using Host Editor, as well as using a Host Zip File I found online and it just disappears using the Host Editor, and the zip file fails to copy to the ETC folder. Is there a box checked somewhere, or do I need to do something else to enable the host to be added?
