Need help and tips...

So I recently got the Evo Shift... I'm new to Android and don't have any idea of how to modify the theme.

However, I managed to get some icons changed in ADW.launcher, but when I receive a text or missed call - the icon doesn't show a notification (number of texts missed). Am I missing something or that's the way it is?

Also need help on changing the slider lock and home widget like the weather and time displayed. Any recommended apps, widgets, etc.. Please help!

will someone please inform me on how to make customized icons show notifications (missed texts, emails, calls, etc) like on this phone...

i placed customized icons with launcherpro now and they don't show notications when i miss calls and texts.

help please!! i'm talking to myself on here!

I know you can download a component of ADW called ADW Notifier...it is in the market and states it can do this...I, myself, am not really into counters but what to let you know about that...the weather and time changing..can't help you there I have the Samsung Captivate so we don't have that pretty stuff

You can change the widget by finding one in the market. Push and hold on your current clock. A trash can will appear at the bottom of the screen. Drag the widget there and let it go. Font worry, you didn't uninstall it, just deleted it from your home screen. Then long press on Where you want the new widget. S screen with all of your available Widgets should pop up. Scroll through to find the one you want, tap on it, and it will be on your screen. Also, check out launcherpro plus. Its a paid app but worth way more than what you will pay for it. It includes the counters you are looking for. Good luck!
