Need help blocking a number from calls/texts.

First off, I tried contacting my provider (US Cellular) but they aren't capable of doing so. They told me the only way to do it was to download an app from the market.

That being said, I only tried downloading one, and that was Mr. Number. Problem is, when the number you are blocking calls, it still pops up on your phone and there is also a notification afterwards. I want an app that just blocks the number without me even knowing that person called/texted me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Create a contact for that number and in its contact options, check "send directly to voicemail" Maybe that will get you what you want.

Certainly a feature in Norton Mob Security which is currently free

There are tons of apps for call/txt blocking in the market. start trying them out. And some phones can block both, like my Vibrant. I have several 1-800 numbers that are blocked and it works great.
