need help deciding

Hi, my bestfriend told me if I wanted to he'll add me to his plan.
Looked at the phones and debating between 3.
the htc one : the screen , I like htc had their phones before , and that boom sound .
lg optimus g : I wanted the nexus 4 , so same specs I like it.

lg optimus g pro: I wanted a tablet , great specs , so why not go 2 in 1.

those are my thoughts , I am open to suggestions too.

Also I think I'll be the 3rd line I don't even understand how the plans work between mins , texts , & especially data it confuses me.
different idk.
Any help would be appreciated ,

Moto X is a good phone.

I have the Atrix HD and I believe it is very inexpensive with a contract.

AT&T was running some FREE or 99 cent phones on a promotion recently.

You might wait a couple of weeks for the LG G2 to be released; the rumor is that it is going to be the Nexus 5 (in the same sense the Optimus G was the Nexus 4).

Personally I'd go with the HTC One.

The Optimus G Pro is nice, but too big for may taste. Although if you want a larger tablet like phone, Pro could be the way to go.
