Need help getting pictures of my phone

GrayGirl

Lurker
I have a LG Double Play phone that is about one or two years old and I use a 2 gb Micro memory card for my pictures, it is made by Kingston. Normally I use Bluetooth to transfer photos from my phone to my MacBook Pro. I am getting tired of this since it take to long and drains both batteries. I have a USB cord and I have tried using that, I have also tired using and adapter and transferring them that way. The folder for my phone comes up but I can't find the pictures anywhere i have looked in every folder that my laptop says my phones has and nothing come up with my photos.

So I looked at my phone at one of the details of a photo. My phone tells me the photos are in a folder called Camera. Which does not show up when I connect my phone the my laptop. With more reading I found out that the folder is in an unknown location. I tried moving the photos to a different folder but I can't find how.

This is really aggravation and i would just like to get my photos over to my computer.

Can anyone please help me.

Look for a folder named DCIM. The camera pictures should besomewhere down in that folder, maybe one folder down, maybe a couple down. (Almost every phone and camera manufacturer used that convention, that pictures are somewhere down in the DCIM folder.)
