Need help installing Swype on my HTC Inspire

I'm not getting any help in the Swype forums, so I thought maybe I'd get more help here.
Also, I was looking at some of the threads here about this, and I found this: Download Swype for Android Beta | Android Central but I'm having problems with step 5...I don't have that option to "check unknown sources" (I'm trying to install the official beta Swype, not the one on that page)
Anyway, thanks in advance! :)

Go to settings > applications and there is a check box for unknown sources, just all non market apps. Then try to install. Cant really tell where your issue is. Also there is a licensing bug w/ swype installer. If it wont generate a license close it and reopen it

Oh, I forgot to link to my other post...but yeah, I'm trying to use the official Beta installer...what I'm saying is, I don't have the option to allow non-market apps...
Installing on HTC Inspire help?
I'm trying to figure out SDK so I can take a screenshot...
BTW, my phone is NOT rooted...Is that why it's not working?

Here's a picture of the application page...See, it doesn't have the option for unknown sources....what do I do?

i have the SAME issue - i dont have the option to allow unknown sources..... :( what do we do in this case???

If you go back to my post on the Swype forum, the Admin said that it's an AT&T issue...He said there's a workaround for it, but he can't say it because it might be a violation of AT&T TOS.

Give this a try ... shut off your phone and remove the SIM card. Then reboot the phone, turn on WiFi and try to get Swype from the link. Once installed you can shut down the phone, put back the SIM and you should be good to go.

ok whoever is using Chrome - use explorer. i remember downloading everything in oreder to do screenshots and ihad to use explorer....someone shud notate that whole part lol. but now to try adding swype....yay
