Not exactly sure how to clear up more space except uninstalling apps? I don't really have that many apps... Please help

Need help please! HTC Hero "Low on space"

Thanks for all the help guys! No I'm not being facetious... I should have paid more attention to the suggestions that popped up before I took up room in the forums. I went through all 3 of my email accounts and deleted the trash in the trash folders and voila! Never would have actually thought that stuff stayed there.

Go to menu< settings< applications< manage applications, clear all your caches. Your browser can build up a large cache, as well as a few other apps. You may also take a look at what apps you actually use. If I haven't used one in a while, or don't need it anymore, I delete it.

I've been considering taking the plunge on rooting this phone, but I've never done that before... how big a pain in the @ss is that?
Not so big...
The hard part is actually flashing the phone, which took me ages cause i was ignoring the command lines.

Thanks, I'll look into it... Are there any downsides to doing this? (ie., Sprint not allowing you to return the phone if you break it?)
