need help rooting Jelly Bean LG-730 boost mobile

i have the boost mobile lg venice and i want to gain superuser access, i have recently done this with the samsung gallaxy s2 just by scanning a qr code and downloading it with the phone, i want to know if i can do the same thing with the lg venice but jelly bean update on it.
