Root Need Help Upgrading My Razr To JellyBean

I have a Droid Razr that I bought off Ebay, and I am currently using a pay by the minute sim card so I don't have any service on it. I do have wireless however.

I need to upgrade to the latest android operating system but I can't seem to find the correct Jelly Bean ROM for this exact phone and the last thing I want is to brick it by putting the wrong version on. Here are the phone's details:

The ebay title for the phone was:
NEW MOTOROLA DROID RAZR FACTORY UNLOCKED GSM XT910 1.2GHz ANDROID PHONE- WHITE

Phone type:
Droid Razr

Model number:
XT910

System Version:
651.167.3370.xt910.AmericaMovil.en.01

Android Version:
2.3.6

Build Number:
6.5.1.167_SLC-M37

I tried to install OTA updater and it says ROM not supported, the ROM developer has not enabled support for the OTA updater.

I tried OTA updater but it says my ROM is not supported. My phone is rooted, yes. I just can't find the proper ROM to use for it and I don't want to brick it.

I'm a bit out of my depth here, but I'm reasonably sure that to use an OTA updater you need to unroot first. Also if you froze any stock apps you should unfreeze them. If you deleted them things will probably get a lot more complicated.

That said, I'm not very familiar with the GSM version of the phone either.

Best of luck!

Sorry wolfcry. I wish I had some ideas for you, but as I said this is a bit out of my league as well. I hope someone will come along who can better assist you!
