Need help with Audio organization

Hi guys. I need help organizing my audio files on Xperia Arc.

Situation:
I have a lot of music on my phone. I usually shuffle all tracks as I love them all, and need no separate playlists.
Recently though, I added about 500 Audio Lectures (all in a folder) in my music folder.
The problem is- Now when I play music, it plays these Lectures too and I have to skip them every time (500 is a lot).

Is there any way I can keep the 2 (music and study) separate, and still be able to play using the same player?
And is there any music app that would remember where I left off my Study if I switch to Music?

p.s.- I don't want to make two separate playlists. It would take long. -_-

Step 1 -- Create new playlist (< 1 second)
step 2 -- Select all music files in folder (5-10 sec)
step 3 -- Drag files to Playlist (< 1 sec)
step 4 -- Rename playlist to whatever (5-10 seconds unless u r realy slow typist)

step 5 repeat 1-4 for lectures.

I'd say u could do all of that in about 1 minute...

The music app I developed called "Music Player (Remix)" has an auto-bookmark feature that automatically saves the last play position in every music file you listen to. So if you're listening to lectures and then switch to some music, you can go back to your lectures and resume where you last left off. You can also save manual bookmarks as well.

In regards to playlist creation taking a lot of time, in Music Player (Remix) it's a cinch. Select "multi-add" mode on a playlist and you can then go to any screen in the app and just tap songs/albums/artists/genres/composers to add them to the playlist. Just keep tapping to continue to populate the playlist. If your lecture files had their own genre, all you'd have to do is create a "Lectures" playlist and then add that genre to the playlist. Then you'd make a "Music" playlist and add the other genres to that playlist. It would be very easy to set this up.

Also in the next release, I'm planning on adding a duration filtering option for "Shuffle All". So basically you'll be able to define a min and max duration for music files that appear in a Shuffle All playlist. So if you want to exclude longer audio files (like lectures or audiobooks), you'd set your max duration to something like 10 minutes.
