Help Need help with blue tooth and car mode

I have paired my S5 with blue tooth in my vehicle and every time this connects the car mode starts automatically. I will not recognize voice commands so I have no use for car mode. The problem is that when using the phone normally after being away from the truck and I make or receive calls the sound is dead and only work on the speaker phone. I have to restart the phone. Is there a way to delete the car mode all together and will the blue tooth connection still work without it?

If you open car mode, go into settings. Once you're in settings, touch Register Car. On the next screen you'll see the option Auto Open Via Bluetooth. Just uncheck that option and you should be good.
