Help Need help with mail and Gmail cache

In the app drawer on the arc S you have two icons - gmail and mail.

When set it all up it, its brilliant.... but if I only want to delete e-mails from my phone but not from the gmail or mails internet websites how can i do that ?

U cant do it. It sync ur email with app so what u delete here it is deleted there.

You would need to set your email up as POP3 . It uses IMAP as default so that the email accounts are synced up no matter where you access them from.

I'm not sure if you can force the gmail app to use POP3 but you may be able to do this through the email app using the manual setup.
