need help with my texting

why cant i send out a text msg a pic come up beside it but i can recieve i looked through my phone to see if i could fix it an im not getting any where need help

Welcome aboard. This kind of problem is usually a network issue. You should get intouch with your phone carrier and discuss the problem with them. They should be able to address the issues.
