Need help with sega emulater (gensoid)

Downloaded a sega emulater for my htc wildfire. Whenever i press on it it goes straight to a sd card screen. What am i doing wrong.
 
Is it waiting for you to point it to a game ROM on your SD card?
 
Yeah i click on the gensoid icon and it goes to a screen with various names of what seem like different save points, at the top of the screen is an sd card icon and an arrow with a type screen saying ''/sdcard'' clicking on any of them will come up with ''no appropriate files in this folder''.
 
Very sure. I play it all the time. Posting links is against the rules here (Posting links to roms). Just google it and you'll find what you're looking for.

I can confirm this - you need game roms loaded on your sdcard. The games should show up on the initial list you see when you start Gensoid (unless you store them in a separate folder, in which case you can navigate to that folder to see the game roms). Once you select a rom from the list the game should start up fine.
 
Guys need help..i have the Gensiod (lite) on my Galaxy S..i downloaded Sonic and Road Rash roms from coolrom..but everytime i open the rom using gensiod..i see a big balck screen with buttons..tats it..no game..nothing..am i doing something wrong??
 
@akshayrajsingh I get the same thing. screen shows up but quickly closes. notification bar says it is running but its just the rom selection screen. i am tryin to run it on a lg apex. do i need to be rooted or something? im running eclair. any more info need let me know
 
i am useing gensoid. when i start a game it is very sketchy. the sound is sketchy and the grafics. i am using a lg apex with 2.1 is this problem because i need to root and speed up the device or what? pls help. these games r from back in duh day when i played alot. i want to relive my childhood. ty android!

i have changed the settings for audio and video. the game plays beter but is still a little laggy. any1 know what settings i should b on? ty!
