Help Need help with sony tv running android os

I have an 850c with latest firmware, and downloaded kodi for it. i am trying to add a repo but the tv won't read anything that is .zip

anyone know of a way around this?
 
Hi there, I have a SONY 43W805C and I also installed Kodi from the Google Play Store.
I have not yet tried to add some Kodi repo.

But, can you use Kodi to watch live TV? I have cable TV (DVB-C) and would like to use Kodi to watch live TV using DVB-C, but I have no clue what backend to use with DVB-C....
