Need help with USB Storage

I have recently formatted my storage due to a full amount, I have backup'ed my songs, pictures, and videos on to my PC. I copied and pasted those in their orginial folders and they do not show up in my phone(Which is a T-Mobile Samsung Exhibit II BTW). What would be the issue?

Welcome to Android Forums.

Did you disconnect the phone from the USB cable? Some modes of connection give exclusive control of the phones files system to the PC.

Did you reboot (power off/power on) the phone? Some file systems are refreshed at load time and changes are not recognized until that happens.

As above and also are you sure you partitioned and formatted the SD card in the correct format e.g Fat32 etc?
