Need help

New to smart phones, just switched from a old school flip phone. I want to put music on my phone, what is the best way of going about this ?.

I have Amazon Mp3 and some other one i downloaded from the market. So do i just buy music from Amazon and use there cloud player ? what is the best method. I want something that shows album covers etc. Sorry all very new to me as far as these phones. I have a Samsung Galaxy S2. Thanks in advance for your help.

If you have a music library on your PC, simply plug the phone into your PC with the USB cable and the phone will show up as a removable drive. Copy the files to the phone and they become available through the stock player called 'music' in the app drawer. If you would prefer a different media player, you can get one from the market.

Dont have anything on my computer for music, what is the best for music ? google ? Amazon ?.

What exactly is power amp for ?. Is power amp a mp3 player or is just eq for your music ?. Right now im using Amazon cloud player and its not bad, and i dialed in the sound with power amp ?

Update, i figured out power amp, i have to say power amp KICKS BUTT, love it, thanks for your replies.

Power Amp Pro is a music player. (Best in the market) If you use either Google or Amozon cloud based, I believe you need a data signal to use them. With a music player you don't.

Downloading my music thru amazon onto my phone and playing it back thru power amp. I read about power amp so i downloaded it, and its pretty darn good. Thanks for everybodys help.

Free iTunes.
Make sure, however, to store all music files in iTunes in .mp3 format, which Android can read, and not in iTunes' (proprietary = walled garden) default .aac format! Which Android cannot read.

And when you install free AudioGalaxy on both your PC and your phone you can stream all your music from iTunes/your PC to your phone without having to duplicate/store gigabytes of music files on it. Saves you hours of up- and downloading in preparation. And saves gigabytes of storage space on your phone. And saves a lot of confusion later (because you don't have duplicate music files).

Thanks for that link, i think putting the music on my phone is not a big deal, i have 16gb of space, thats alot of songs, i wont be putting very few videos on it. I think i will stick with amazon for the music and use my Power amp player.
