Hey,
I have an old LG Xenon. Battery is crapping out just when i started getting pissed at the lack of txt message storage. The thing holds 500 contacts but only 150txt (including the sent). Not able to save then to memory card.
Anyways. Looking for a good Android phone.
Main requirements:
-Removable Battery
-Good internal storage (since apps are save on that)
-MicroSD Slot
-Good Battery Life
Was looking at the Galaxy Nexus, was worried it would be too huge, but since it's smaller than the GSIII, not worried anymore. Saw reviews that the battery life sucks because of the HD screen and small battery combo.
on Fido right now, all I have is the $20/month 50min + Unlimited text plan.
Androids are good phones, but i'm scared i might brick it during an update. ie bootloader failing to be flashed, and then no way to revive it without a jig kit and opening up the phone. Wish they had a permanently writen BIOS on a chip; you dont see your pc crapping out when WINDOW's bootloader breaks. You can atleast reinstall as long as you haven't messed with the BIOS firmware. Even then, some motherboards have dual bios's.
