Need Phone Suggestions

I've been using a Samsung Galaxy S4 for 3 years now and am looking to upgrade. Would like to spend no more than $350. I like the screen size of my S4; the phablets are not for me. Camera does not play a huge factor, but I do have kids so I'd like to be able to capture precious moments quickly. Customization would be nice (i.e. Moto Maker), but not necessary. Battery life and storage matter most to me. Stock Android is preferred over skins. Verizon Wireless.

Moto X Pure.

I just picked one up off of Swappa and am really liking it (had a Moto X 2nd gen). My only gripe about it it's not AMOLED but I'll get over that, the screen is really nice. Sure, a new model is coming out (isn't that the case for everything though?) but the only thing 'lacking' for me there would be a fingerprint scanner and I'm honestly not sure I care.

You'd probably like the twist to activate the camera (which is decent) and it's as close to stock Android as you will find outside a Nexus. The few added Moto services are actually helpful, love me some Moto voice wake up/commands. Battery life seems good so far and it does have an SD slot.

Keep an eye on the Moto site, they have and will be offering deals on them as it gets closer to the new one coming out. Or Swappa, you really can get super deals there.

Oh and. I am on Verizon, just popped my SIM and it fired right up. It did take a bit of time to configure APN's and stuff but I had zero issues activating it.

edit: Oh and and. Amazon has the 32GB for $374.99 (Prime). That's a bit more than you wanted to spend but it's brand spankin' new and less than MotoMaker :)
