need simple instruction re adding movies to droid

I am a brand new owner and user of the droid.
Can someone refer me to a location or instructions that give me simple directions on adding some of my DVD movies to the droid ? I know this is possible but havent' the foggiest how to even begin.
Also what app would I use to view the dvd ??

I use dvdcatalyst from tools4movie.com ... it comes with preloaded setting for the nexus one and the droid.. its easy to use
