Root Need some help..

Hello,
A few weeks back, I rooted my phone using the motofail method described in a certain youtube video. A few days later the OTA update for ICS was available. I wanted to keep root, so I did some research and followed these instructions:

To uninstall safe strap, go to the safe strap app and choose uninstall recovery. To uninstall bootstrap, download root explorer, got to \system\bin, delete hijack and logwrapper, and rename logwrapper.bin as logwrapper. I then installed Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper. The OTA worked fine. I "reactivated" my root through Voodoo which brings me here. Other than noted above, I haven't done anything with ROMs, there are no apps frozen/quarantined, etc...Ever since ICS, I have been having issues with my bluetooth headset playing nice with my music players (play/pause issues that were not previously there on GB...)I'm tempted to take it back to the VZW store and have them swap my phone to see if that solves anything, but I want to make sure I've backed up all of my stuff and have wiped any trace of root. I have installed ROM Toolbox PRO, but have only made app backups (no fancy stuff..)Can someone provide some guidance on how to do this given the info I have given above?? I can provide more details if you ask... I just really don't want to brick the phone.

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping that I didn't need to go that drastic, but if that's the best way, then it's probably for the best..
I looked at the link and there are quite a few options. Does it matter which fastboot file I use?

Thanks again.
