Help Need some idiot help with using an emulator

Hi all, newbie here.

I've got a Nexus 7 tablet with Android 5.0.2.
One on my favourite old PC games was called "UFO Enemy Unknown" in the UK back in the mid 90s and I'd like to set it up to play on my tablet but am unsure on a few things.

I've found UAE4Droid, installed it and I've found and unzipped four (or five) game .ADF files.

I think (but am not clear that) I need something else to configure the emulator. I also am not clear as to whether the emulator can use the touch screen instead of a mouse (that would be a deal breaker for me as I sort of hoped a modern emulator could represent screen taps as mouse clicks).

I don't know if this is possible, but hope so.

OR .... is a DOS emulator and the PC version an option ?

Thanks

DG

UAE4droid is a Commodore Amiga emulator, which requires a dump of your original Amiga Kick-start ROM in order to run. Is your game for Amiga?

The other emulators you mention are PC. If it's a PC game, there should be an EXE file in the game, that the emulator runs.

As a rule PC DOS emulation is much easier to do, because you don't need to be concerned about obtaining copyrighted BIOS ROMs, such as Amiga Kick-start, in order to run the emulator.

I'd definitely prefer to go the PC route if possible, the Amiga was just the first one I found that (at the time) seemed to do the trick.
So, I can get hold of a DOS emulator for Android, then it'll just be the matter of sourcing the game EXE.

I'll post an update with how I get on.

Cheers
