Help Need some update help

Just bought a new Droid razr maxx cause my last one took a crap after two years. Anyways this new phone is a brand new first gen running 6.16.207.xt908.lra.en.us 4.0.4 and I wanna update it the better ics or current jelley bean os. I already tried running the ota jelly bean update and it kept "aborting" the update. Witch I figured it do. so anyway please help me get this s..l..o..w.. out of date phone up to date. What do I need to do. Thanks

This is actually the Dorid MAXX forum, not the Razr Maxx forum.
A common and perfectly understandable error.

I am sure an admin will be kind enough to move this thread over to the correct place so those persons familiar with your phone can be of assistance.
