Need t-mo phone rec for smart phone for non-savvy gf

Girlfriend has t-mo, I have sprint. I've used android for years, and she wants a smart phone to replace her old ipod and basically merge her phone and 2nd gen ipod into one.

I recommended to her the exhibit II 4G for about $200. Though, there may be a better phone for this price range. She's on a family plan and doesn't have an upgrade or anything so its out of pocket.

Looking for recs other than exhibit II if there are any in this price range. Used phones might be okay but we are both more comfortable with her having a phone that is under warranty if possible.

The Exhibit might be the best option for her in that price range. If she wants a slide out keyboard, you can show her the MyTouch Q.
 
If upgrade is due in six months or less, you can usually get the Customer Loyalty Department to move it up. Keep in mind, THEY have to do the upgrade, but there are great deals
