Root NEED TESTERS

Any other suggestions for z958? I tried rooting with kingo, getting the adb root shell....tried to copy boot to recovery to see if I could make it boot....looked like it wrote it but it didn't so apparently the write protection includes recovery.
 
I'm interested in helping with this. I bought a ZTE ZMax 2 because I wanted a bigger screen but not pay a load of money for a highend phone. Its a Go Phone, I bought off Ebay, they claimed it was Unlocked, I read in that thread some people had a little success on the unlocked z958 as opposed to the ATT locked z958.. I'm willing to try your method hroark13 and report it in that thread
