need to change wallpaper on handcent sms

I have a Samsung epic and when I receive text messages there is a different background image than my homepage wallpaper. How do you change that wallpaper? Right now I get a picture of a boulder in the background when I receive my messages. Any ideas? Thanks.

Open Handcent>menu>settings>custom style>conversation list settings>background> select color or image. Personally I just use a white background and Hero theme.

Tried that. It changes the color of the message threads. When my phone is at the home screen and if I get a message the message comes up with a picture in the background. Id rather do away with it but if I can change it Id like yo know too.

Oh, you mean the actual homescreen background and not the handcent background? I dont think that has anything to do with handcent as I have handcent on my phone and nothing happens like that?

I use handcent as well and the only backgrounds you can change are the "Conversation Listing" and "Bubble Settings". Which one are you referring to?
