Help need to know if i can factory data reset and activate phone without coverage

motorola photon q :so i bought this phone and it runs on the sprint network but was intended for kroger iwireless. is there a way that i can switch it to run off of the sprint service? i tried to activate it online but didnt work so do i need to reprogram it somehow?
