Need to mod VZW droid to no hardware camera..

So I have a friend that works in an area where he cannot have a camera on his phone... I want to mod him a Thunderbolt or X but wanted to see if anyone else had tried this...

The physical camera has to be totaly gone ( no covering with electric tape) but I want to do it right... Anyone have any suggestions before I take some droids and disect them??

Ok.. Figured it out.. I bought a regular HTC incredible to expirament on... Only took about 5 minutes to remove battery and sd, pop out 4 screws, lightly pry the two sections apart, take flat head and push on black plastic piece on camera housing, remove housing and finally camera pops out...

Chose the INC because even with no camera, it has the housing to protect phone and not leave a hole in it for dust or moisture.. Plus you can look in the window and see the whole camera is gone... Screen just goes blank if you hit camera app.. Everything else seems to be working okay...
