Root Need to verify phone is unrooted for warranty repair

How can I tell if my phone is unrooted?

This is what I have done so far.

uninstalled all "root" apps (including superuser)
installed OTA updates to ICS
factory reset

I just want to verify that root is gone before I send it in.

you need to restore to factory recovery as well....not anything other than stock recovery....and that is for stock restore only...phandroid doesn't promote intentional fraud to the manufacturer....reword yourself just a bit so as to not have the thread closed...just saying.. :)

Also you can download terminal emulator and when you open it
type "su"
If it says permission denied you aren't rooted. And if u just download superuser from the store and try it it will help confirm BC if its not installed it may say "permission denied" BC it can't ask for permission

I just flashed back to stock EL29 (full wipe) with the method below.

Everything should be good to go now except I realized I have the yellow triangle. Won't this automatically alert Samsung that my phone has been modified?

It's not on the splash screen like I see on other phones, mine is in the screen before you get into the downloader.
